Welcome!

We're glad you stopped by to check us out! Whether you're planning your very first visit to Southwest Church of the Nazarene ("SWC"), or you've been with us before, we want the time you spend with us to feel welcoming, meaningful and uplifting. SWC's desire is to minister to you where you are with the love and power of God through Jesus Christ. We hope that you'll stop by and join one of our services so that you can learn and see for yourself the love and freedom Jesus Christ has for your life! If you would like to see previous services, please visit the SWCN YouTube channel

What's it Like?
Family
We understand you might be nervous the first time you visit us at SWC.  Visiting a new Church can be scary, after all, if you don't know anyone here you'll be among strangers. But not for long, because it our mission at SWC to quickly make you feel welcome and right at home on your first visit. We want you to be able to relax and connect with us from the moment you arrive. You'll be greeted at the door with a smile and directed to where you need to go. Please let us know if you have any special needs and/or ask questions. We'll do our best to address your needs and if the person greeting you doesn't know the answer to your question, he or she will do their best to get the answer for you.
SWC is a family oriented church! It is very important to us that every member of your family feels safe and valued and enjoys themselves while you are visiting at SWC.  We are careful and intentional about the safety and well being of everyone in our church family and yours.
What About My Kids?

We offer a family oriented class where parents and their kids can attend bible study together on Sunday mornings at 9:30AM.  During the worship service meet for Elementary Worship following the praise and worship portion of the service.  At that time we also offer a nursery & toddler session.  The Elementary Worship, nursery and toddler classes are dismissed at the time adults are dismissed from the main service.

Where Do I Park?

Our primary parking is in the front of the building and wraps around the church to allow for easier access to the Sunday School building.  The lot is near the main entrance with handicap parking in the front near the main doors.

What's the Dress Code?

We encourage you to wear what you’re comfortable in. While some like to dress up for church, casual dress is completely appropriate.

What's it Like?

For Sunday morning worship, expect a “blended” style service with a mix of contemporary – or current music, and traditional hymn music.  Coffee, tea, and hot chocolate are available available. You are welcome to bring these drinks into the service but encourage having a lid on them.  You can expect Pastor Dave or a guest speaker to deliver biblical, practical and applicable messages. Expect somewhere that you can connect!
